The Madani Qaidah and Nazra Course is a foundational programme designed to teach accurate Quranic recitation through correct pronunciation and essential Tajweed rules. The course begins with Madani Qaidah, which focuses on the Arabic alphabet, articulation points of letters, and their characteristics. Each lesson is structured to progressively build students’ understanding of Tajweed, with key questions provided at the end to reinforce learning. This course serves as an excellent opportunity for learners to master rules such as Izhar, Ikhfa, Idgham, Iqlab, Ghunnah, and others. It introduces students to Maddaat, Saktah, Imala, and the identification of pause symbols, enabling a more refined and respectful recitation of the Holy Quran. The Nazra component of the course emphasises fluent recitation with Tajweed, covering effective techniques like Hadr and Tadweer. Students learn to recognise verses, Rukus and the difference between Makki and Madani chapters, while also grasping the difference between I’adah (repetition) and Ibtida (starting anew).
